Going into a Rehab
Author: karenLet’s get real. Removing your addiction from your system is not a joke. Withdrawals can be manifested and can even bring emotional stress. Finding healthy replacements and getting yourself busy won’t be enough. This are just simple thoughts to show how addiction can be serious, making an addicted individual feel incomplete without it.
But it is not really hopeless in the cases of someone who is addict. In fact there are other effective means to stop the addiction like getting into a rehab. Meeting people who used to be an addict, I personally find this as one of the best means to heal your addiction. Here’s why:

1. You live in a community with people who can relate to you. When you decide to finally let go of your addiction, you’ll have to adopt to a new system where your body will no longer be supplemented with synthetics. With this, there can be unexpected times when you get shaky, looking for that thing that put you to temporary satisfaction. As this gets worse, you can be emotionally shaky and clearly, you’ll be needing someone who can relate to your experience, the best person who can help you to get steady.
2. There are professionals who can help you. Having a professional around will give you the idea of the core of your addiction and the reasons behind it. And this won’t be a useless information since realizing the very reason of your addiction will give you more solutions for your problems.
