There are many different approaches for self therapy but a proven effective kind of therapy is touch therapy. Here is a list of the most effective self touch therapy techniques:

Magnetic Therapy – it is a heart centered healing where you build a connection with your higher self and soul to move energy and use it for a healthy lifestyle.

Radiatory Healing – it is a type of healing wherein you tend to release energy without even touching the body.

Sound Healing – it is a great tool in releasing stubborn energy. It makes use of frequencies to release tensions surrounding your energy.

Managing Your Anger

December 26th, 2007

Total madness would be the hitting result of that tension building up in your body with cold sweat and gritted teeth. Your temper is about to burst and you are almost crimson with that boiling blood of yours rushing toward your brain. The point here is, you are very angry at someone or at something, yet you have to restrain your feelings because you just can’t find a way to show it because of some issues.

Though it is good, when certain circumstances require it, to control strong emotions, it is still advised to express it with full conviction to lessen the stress. But even though you know this and are boiling mad, you still find yourself repressing your anger because you are just too kind-hearted to express it in a harmless way. In this case, you should find creative and yeah, harmless ways to release that anger.

Managing Your Anger

  1. Shout. Let the world know that you are mad by shouting at the vastness of the sea or the sky. Curse the people you hate and the situation you’re in. Or. If you can’t find an empty place, do it in your bedroom where you place your pillow above your head and then do the screaming thing.

  2. Throw the tension. Use some trashy or unbreakable items at wall like crumbled papers or pillows to ease your stress. Though this methods appears silly or childish, it has been proven by some studies that doing this can release the tension.

Party

1.  Outdoor party. Parties are usually done indoors, in the home of a relative or a friend. And sometimes, it is done in the office or in hotel rooms, celebrating company parties. But when you think about it, parties are rarely done outside because of cold temperature in December. But when you want to feel Christmas more, then you might as well embrace the ambiance in December, where the scent of the air smells good and the breeze is cold. It’s not everyday that you get this refreshing feeling especially when you have the people around you quite happy.

2. Make a theme party. Costume parties are usually done during Halloween and themes are established during birthdays. And usually, Christmas parties are done in cocktail fashion. So, to make ti more fun and more intersting, have a costume party or a theme party in Christmas.

December 24th, 2007

It’s December and it’s time to prepare the occasion with a big smile on your face! Well, yeah, there is a possibility you’d be cramming for Christmas, especially when you, uh, are short in budget. And with the food and the decorations that you want to get for the season, you might probably don’t have much for gifts…. If this is the case, then it shouldn’t really be a problem. There are thousands of ways to give presents this Christmas without spending too much.

Framed

1. Personalized pictures. But an affordable picture frame and have your loved one’s picture posted there. But hey, this is not going to be an ordinary framed picture because you, personalizing it will make it special. Put his/her name there or add colorful and eye-candy decorations to make it more fun and more valuable.

2. Special treats. Doing them sweet gestures can be enough as a Christmas present. You can bring them to their favorite place, sing their favorite song, play them music, or give them a massage is a nice way to show appreciation to them.

Disease-Free Season

December 24th, 2007

Few days left and it will be Christmas, the occasion when people go merry and bubbly with festive gatherings. And what a great way to celebrate this Yuletide season with a bang…. I mean a bed bang….. (pun intended)

Disease-Free Season

Kidding aside, many couples and party goers will absolutely hook up before or after Christmas parties and gatherings. It’s a special way to welcome and end the season with pleasure and passion> While it is enjoyable to have someone whom you are attracted to, there are still issues that need to be addressed – issues that will require even a small amount of sense of responsibility.

This is where “safe sex” enters. A practice that can be done simply by wearing condoms. It is not just an advertisement of the products and most especially, a nonsense saying, but a solution to some of the heart-breaking results of researches about sex and health. Another survey has been made to support this idea.

23% of people aging 18-24 had sex without protection and that can mean that there might be another 23% of acquiring sexual disease. In fact, this age group is more likely to get gonorrhea and chlamydia.

Of course, the best way to avoid this is of course, like what has been said for hundred times, wear a condom. It is a simple advice that can save big consequences.

Increase in STD

December 24th, 2007

Despite the awareness programs done by several organizations concerning people’s health, the message that seems to be basic and simple are still left understood. The manifestation of this thought can be seen in the results, that the percentage of those who are inflicted by sexual virus continues to rise.

Communicable Disease Surveillance Center Northern Ireland (CDSCNI) shows an alarming report that STD’s particularly syphillis, has continued to spread since 2001. Researches back in 2005 and 2006 also show the same results.

  • 21% increase rate of chlamydia

  • 15% growth in genital herpes

  • 7% raise in gonorrhea.

On the other hand, despite the devastating results of the studies, it has shown some progress in the rate of HIV infection with only 57 news cases, a decrease of 7%.

Second-hand Smoking

December 23rd, 2007

Canada has already taken action regarding the smoking condition of their country, especially in Wolfsville when a legislation is passed about smoking in cars.

This legislation aims for the welfare of the young children who are at risk at being exposed to smoking. Alarmed with the records of Statistics Canada, one out of five children are exposed to second-hand smoking done in cars and these children are aged under 12.

The harmful effects of the smoke can damage the lungs of the child where it is still sensitive and vulnerable. In fact, it can cause the child to have bronchitis, asthma, pneumonia, cardiovascular and respiratory disease.

Avoiding Alcohol

December 23rd, 2007

Getting rid of what has been a part of your system is way easier than said and done when it there is a determination included on that plan, then it might possibly work. This applies to alcohol too especially when you reach its excessiveness. However, getting alcoholic is not the end of everything. It, like other addiction, can also be cured with some amount of help from the professionals and of course, with a larger determination that comes from you.

Try to replace alcohol into something healthier and less addicting. It can be juice, you know. Though the idea of it is a bit silly, but it might happen as withdrawal signs start to manifest.

Hide away all your liquor. Not seeing this alcohol might actually help you from avoiding it.  The absence can sometimes be implied to your mind that your addiction can be stopped more easily.

Avoid social gathering or spending your cash with alcohol. For now, you can avoid the parties that offer alcohol in the occasion. This will only attempt you to get into drinking again once you see the crowd holding their glasses of alcohol while you are empty-handed.

Date Reminders

December 22nd, 2007

Hygiene - check. Outfit - check. Cash - check. Hmmmm, it seems that you are ready with your date, eh? You are fragrant with your perfume and fresh breath, you look good with that outfit, and you have that extra cash for emergency purposes. Geared with these things, you wait for your date and wonder what magic might happen that night. It can be a nightmare, for all you know, but to make ti positive, it can be a way for a budding relationship. No one really knows what might happen especially when you are filled with butterflies in your stomach. But, to avoid drama in your date, take these simple reminders that will win you a smile or even a kiss at the end of your night.

Dating

1. Be on time. Wasting the time of your partner might piss him/her off. Besides, this might even know that you don’t consider his/her time and effort.

2.  Talk. Have a real talk, not just simple conversations and sharings of interests. Well, it can start in that way, but as your talk gets deeper be sure that you get to know more about the person, otherwise the purpose would turn pointless.

3. Spend a good time together. It is important that you enjoy each other’s company. It can be nerve-cracking to be with someone you like but it really matters to manage to have a great time while you are together. This is where you may start sharing happiness while you are with each together.
