Syringe Reuse
Author: adminCleanliness has always been the campaign of every licensed health center or clinic. However, just recently, a clinic in Las Vegas, Nevada has been shut down after an improper use of syringes. A hepatitis C outbreak was noted after workers improperly reused syringes at the clinic.
Serious cases and lawsuits await the heads of the clinic namely doctors Dipak Desai and Eladio Carrera. Their professional medial licenses have been suspended pending the hearings of the state Board of Medical Examiners. Medical records have been seized by the Las Vegas police and the FBI are already involved in the criminal investigation. The owners of the clinic have surrendered their business licenses and have paid fines that amount to $500,000.00.
All I can say is, what were they thinking? They risked the lives of people who entrusted their health on them. They deserve to be investigated and if they are guilty, then proper measures should be taken into consideration.
