1. Good genes. Having a dependable family - socially, emotionally and physically contributes to the happiness of a person.
2. Be giving. According to a 2008 research, it takes only $5 to be spent on others to make you a lot happier on any given day. The selfless act itself makes it all worthwhile.
3. Ponder good thoughts. Just like Happy Gilmore, think of a happy place. By doing this, you can overcome your very own hurdle. Just like Winston Churchill said, “A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.”
4. Work out. Sweating and getting quite a good exercise, you will get to add a little happiness and prevent depression and vulnerable feelings.
5. Live long. During the golden years, people will begin to see a different perspective of life. This is when they tend to see the glass as half full instead of it being half empty. As they say, “Life begins at forty!”
