(LiveScience.com) — Talk about gender issues. A research stated that women are more powerful than men at home. Researchers said that men may strut their stuff in wall street or some big company outside the house but women, flex their muscles at home.
They have conducted a survey of individuals who were married or living as a couple. They were then asked to indicate who has a final say in certain areas of decision making.
Researchers found out that half of the respondents said that they jointly decide or they had no fixed patterns for decisions about weekend activities and buying things for the house. Researchers also found out that four out of ten said the same about television choices and about one in three said the same about managing finances. For the 43 percent of men who do not have a final say in any of the four areas of domestic life, they either share in decision making OR deferred to their partner.
So who calls the shots in your house? The man or the woman?
