Big guy goes on diet

Do you still remember the world’s most obese man? Mexico’s Manuel Uribe is now desperately trying hard to get a new world record. He wants to be the human who has lost the most weight.

He has been going through a strict diet of grapefruits, egg white omelets, chicken, fish, vegetables and peanuts since March 2006. And what did he gain from this? He lost an astonishing 518 pounds.

His weight is now at 717 pounds but he is still unable to move his swollen legs but he hopes to get out of his house next month for the third time in 6 years to celebrate his 43rd birthday.

In the 90’s he can be seen eating pizzas and burgers in the United States where he served as a computer technician. He was so addicted to junk food that he tipped the scales at 1235 pounds which earned him a place in the Guinness World Records.

He has the goal of hitting the 285 pound mark by 2010 which means that he has to lose over 950 pounds more. He is actually preaching the good benefits of healthy eating in order to promote wellness among those who are obese. He said that he did not have anything against junk food sellers and makers but he said that there should be advertisements and people who would urge others to avoid eating them or probably control the junk food intake.

I am so proud of this guy. It is very difficult to lose weight. I love hamburgers, french fries and fried onion rings too. I believe this guy will reach his goal. I give him a high five and congrats. Keep up the great work.
