Bird brains get pleasure from love songs
Author: adminScientists and researchers have observed that a certain part of the brain is triggered when a male bird sings a song that is directed to a female bird. He will undergo changes to the dopamine receptors in his brain which is associated with reward and pleasure. The same traits are caused by addictive drugs and rewarding stimuli such as food or sex. When they sing, they give a positive emotional response.
The same type of brain biscuits are triggered in humans when they are “love-struck” and they are strengthened more by brugs like cocaine or amphetamine which could possibly lead to addiction.
This is a good research done by scientists since the brain of the human and the birds brain is similar in terms of the dopamine receptors.
If you hear birds chirping and see that it is directed towards another bird, most likely, they are experiencing the same bliss that you are experiencing when you are in love.
