According to a latest medical study, those children who are physically abused are most likely to end up having cancer when they reach adulthood.
Based on the research it is discovered that childhood physical abuse is associated with 49 per cent higher odds of cancer in adulthood.
Lead researcher Esme Fuller-Thomson, a faculty in Social Work and Department of Family and Community Medicine from the University of Toronto said few talk about childhood physical abuse and cancer in the same breath.
Thomson said from a public health perspective, it is extremely important that clinicians be aware of the full range of risk factors for cancer.
The lead researcher said through their study should provide important new knowledge about a potential childhood abuse-cancer relationship.

More care should be given to physically abuse children since they are prone to cancer.

Meanwhile, co-author Sarah Brennenstuhl, a doctoral student at Uof T, notes that various psychophysiological factors could help to explain the link between childhood physical abuse and cancer. Brennenstuhl revealed one important avenue for future research is to investigate dysfunctions in cortisol production - the hormone that prepares us for ‘fight or flight’ as a possible mediator in the abuse-cancer relationship.
The researchers hoped that the result of their study would compel the parents and the government in general to care more for physically abused children so that they will not end up having cancer when they reaches adulthood.

Here is a piece of good news to those people who love to drink half a glass of wine in a daily basis.
A recent study has shown that those people who drink at least half a glass of wine everyday could increase their life span by five more years.
According to the research published in the Journal of Epidemiology and Community Health it was discovered that light long term alcohol consumption of all types-up to 20 g a day- extended life by around two extra years compared with no alcohol at all.
The researchers also discovered that extended life expectancy was slightly less for those who drank more than 20 g.
It was also learned that men who drank only wine, and less than half a glass of it a day, lived around 2.5 years longer than those who drank beer and spirits, and almost five years longer than those who drank no alcohol at all.
The findings were based on 1,373 randomly selected men whose cardiovascular health and life expectancy at age 50 were repeatedly monitored between 1960 and 2000.

Wine drinkers who drink half a glass of the liquor everyday could increase their life expectancy by five more years according to a recent study.

The team of experts conducted the research by looking into how much alcohol the men drank, what type it was, and over what period, in a bid to assess whether this had any impact on the risks of their dying from cardiovascular disease, cerebrovascular disease, and from all causes.
The team also tracked weight and diet, whether the men smoked, and for how long, and checked for the presence of serious illness.
Based on their 40 years of monitoring, 1,130 of the men died. Over half the deaths were caused by cardiovascular disease.
The proportion of men who drank alcohol almost doubled from 45% in 1960 to 86% in 2000, with the proportion of those drinking wine soaring from 2% to 44% during that period.
Furthermore, the researchers found out that drinking wine was strongly associated with a lower risk of dying from coronary heart disease, cerebrovascular disease, and death from all causes.
The researchers said the results of their findings held true, irrespective of socioeconomic status, dietary and other lifestyle habits, factors long thought to influence the association between wine drinking and better health.

One of the places most single guys frequent is the nigh clubs and bars to find women for a relationship or casual sex.

A number of these guys succeed in their personal agenda of finding fun and women.
But sadly a long list of these loveless guys failed in their mission of finding women as they only ended up having fun.
Based on a recent study there are five common mistakes why single men fail in their mission of finding mate inside clubs and bars.

Single men love to visit night clubs and bars.

1. Staying only in comfort zones

One of the most common mistakes single guys inside clubs is that most of them only stayed in their comfort zones by talking only to people they know while ignoring others.
The negative side of talking only to your own friends and relatives is that you lose strong chances of meeting other people as your world only centers on your friends and relatives.
To find fun and women inside clubs, men need to get out of their comfort zones by talking to other people other than their own friends and relatives.
The good thing about talking to other people is the chance for you not only to meet new friends and possibility of lover but to develop your confidence and conversational skills.
If you have fears of trying to fit into the conversation and lifestyles of the other people inside clubs give yourself the chance to experience new things in life.
Just relax and enjoy the moment to achieve your quest for fun and friendship inside clubs.

2. Too conscious on the feelings of others

Another glaring pitfall of single guys inside clubs is their too much focus on what others will say that resulted in their failure to bond with the peoples outside their inner circle of friends and relatives.
Single guys needs to realize that you went inside a club to have some fun and find women and the best way to achieve it is to talk and make friends with a lot of people.
People have diverse personalities so the best way to deal with it especially if you are inside a club or bar is to just to act normal and mind your own personal affairs.
Instead of thinking of what other people will say just focus on your character and happiness.
If some people are rude or indifferent to you leave them behind and talk to other people who are friendlier with you instead.

3. No friendship with club personnel

The failure of single guys to make friends with the officers and employees of clubs has also been cited as reason why they end up zero in their quest for women and friendship.
Men need to realized that these employees and officers makes all the work to ensure fun among their clients so to make life easier for you inside the establishment try to forge friendship with them.
If you some friends inside the club these people could help you find love and friendship in the building.

4. Drunk when talking to women

Single men who talk to women drunk inside clubs are most likely to be rejected by her.
Women love to talk to men who are sober since their conversation will be sensible and fun compared when he is drunk.
Men ended up drunk while talking to women since they drank liquor while waiting for the proper time to talk to her.
Instead of waiting for the proper time to talk to women, men must approached her when immediately so that you will not end up drunk while talking to her.
Remember it is rewarding to talk to women when the night is still early inside clubs since they are usually in the mood to talk to men.

5. Too much pressure on self

The pressure placed by single men on their shoulders to find women inside clubs also ended up in a negative outcome.
The pressure of finding women especially for long time single men is so intense that they end up blaming themselves if they could not find one.
The key of finding success on finding women inside clubs is to be patient and relax.
Instead of making your dream a burden make it as a challenge for you that offer no punishment if you failed.
You have strong chances of finding your mate if your disposition is jolly and carefree and not stiff and stoic.

What is PCP and how is it used?

PCP is the abbreviation for the drug known as phencyclidine. Another more common street name for this drug is ‘angel dust.’ PCP was developed during the 1950’s as an anesthetic that could be used in the treatment of mild to moderate pain and also to treat aching limbs. Production of PCP stopped during the 1960’s when patients were beginning to show significant unwelcome side effects from taking the drug. Because they do not feel pain, they will fight for longer which may result in serious injuries for themselves and others. Art and Drug Abuse: Steps to Creativity and Hope
By Jacob Malewitz

Art acts upon our inner artist, the one we push down. Drugs act on our insecurities, our painóand all while we forget who we are. There is a path between destroying your life and bringing out the inner artist. Creatively, art is the perfect route to this serenity, for after drug abuse your mind needs, more than anything, a creative art to focus on. This guide can help.

Calling Upon Pain:
In creating art, you will be calling upon pain from the past. Many famous writers are alcoholics or drug users. Some celebrated their drug use, making it seem this was the true path. It is a path Ö but to pain. This isnít to say the dark days have no purpose. You will call upon the pain to be your creative muse.
Whatever form of art you take onóit can be writing, painting, sketching, sculptingóitís important to choose one which will satisfy. You are trying to forget a dark time.

Forgetting Hell:
The dark days will mean so much to you. Maybe you used because of depression or because you just hated life. Art allows you to forget all that pain by bringing it out. Your artist centeróyour creative centerówill be stronger for this experience in hell. You will be a human being trying to make sense of this with a page, a canvass, or a piece of stone. Creatively, the best of us have experienced hell. If you escaped hell, itís time to remember heaven.

Remembering Heaven:
Even during drug addiction, something positive often happened to you. Maybe you used because of a severe mental illness like manic depression or schizophrenia. Yet perhaps you saw people giving you money for food, or encouraging you to quit drugs. Heaven, or any positive force in your life, was there all the while. Maybe you even picked something up while in the hell of addiction and created art. The purpose of a positive force is to find your way out of that hellóby expressing it with inspiration.

Before the Inspirations:
The inspirations will come for you. If you sit in front of a blank page long enough, you will see no point in it being blank anymore. Thatís the best thesis for creativity. Before the inspiration, decide what path you will take. This is important, as a different path means a different journey. Some will lead you back to the temptations of drugs or the pain of depression. Be careful where you step, as sometimes your art will bring things out of you, things you wished to forget.

All the Success:
How does an artist define happiness? When is creativity enough? I see as a simple rule: every day I stay away from drugs, and create art, I am successful. It doesnít mean I have to sell all my art or everyone has to love it. The art is a pathway out of the drug use. Drugs will change you, and show you the bad and good. Some of us take the pathway to heaven, while others fall all the way down the stairs, back to hell. Define your success anyway you want. And create your art the way you want.
