Coping up with Emotional Stress
Emotional stress is something that is really hard to deal with especially when it hinders one from living a decent and ordinary life. Most of the common issues hounding teens nowadays are issues of the heart. Here are a few tips in dealing with stress everytime you feel it.
1. Breathe deeply and regularly. This will decrease the tone of your sympathetic nervous sytem. This promotes relaxation and good digestion.
2. Spend quiet time alone. This decreases blood pressure, pulse rate and improves blood circulation.
3. Practice Visualization. Try to see things in a positive perspective and believe that it will happen.
4. Eat right. This way, your body can handle stress and strain.
5. Be honest. Accept your feelings and try to be honest about it. Know yourself deeply and try to use anger and depression as fuels for personal growth.
