There was a recent study conducted by a group of Hungarian researchers regarding the way we look at the opposite sex and how we choose our mates. There was an astonishing finding.

Those who were subjects of the research showed that their attraction somehow resembles their parents. There was a large group of subjects who chose mates that somehow look like their parents.

I have to admit that this kind of fact is not new to me. This is because my wife somehow looked like my mom and they even share the same attitude. One particular explanation is that we often look for someone who will take care of us and the clear picture is none other than our parents. Another thing is, they are our first love and will forever be our love. Basically, there is an embedded factor in our brain that considers the look of our parents when we search for mates.
