Peer Pressure!

We humans have the tendency to succumb into doing something just because everybody else is liking it or just because they are being pressured. Funny thing is, this happens to RATS too.

There was a test conducted by researchers in McMaster University in Canada that proved this. They have tested this among brown rats. They injected them with nausea inducing chemicals after their meals. They would prefer to eat cocoa flavoured food pellets over the cinnamon flavored ones.

However, if they spend time with rats that ate and smelt like cinnamon, they will regain their liking for the pellets. This is undeniably a behavior that shows peer pressure among the rats. Luckily, Splinter is not an avid pizza lover like the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
