Rhett Lamb: The Sleepless Boy

Rhett Lamb who is now 3 years of age is a child who is affected by a very rare disease called Chiari Malformation. It is a disease wherein the brain is being squeezed into the spinal column. This affects the control over vital functions such as speech, sleep, breathing system and circulatory system. To solve this problem, doctors performed surgery that will give him the very first proper sleep in his life.

It was a 50-50 chance if the sleeping problem is solved but it is worth the shot. His behavior has also changed a lot and so, once the sleeping problem is solved, therapists will go to work in relieving his irritability problem. Soon, Rhett will become a normal boy who plays, laughs and cries. Hopefully the operation goes well. Let us all pray for the speedy recovery of Rhett.
