Second-hand Smoking

Canada has already taken action regarding the smoking condition of their country, especially in Wolfsville when a legislation is passed about smoking in cars.

This legislation aims for the welfare of the young children who are at risk at being exposed to smoking. Alarmed with the records of Statistics Canada, one out of five children are exposed to second-hand smoking done in cars and these children are aged under 12.

The harmful effects of the smoke can damage the lungs of the child where it is still sensitive and vulnerable. In fact, it can cause the child to have bronchitis, asthma, pneumonia, cardiovascular and respiratory disease.
